Absolutely unprofessional. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Between my husband and I, we have spent a pretty penny here but after the experience today we will never go back. Since when do you need to redo a certification to pick up a firearm when the background check already cleared just because it’s been more than 24 hours. If time is such an issue then why had Nicole the “general manager” or another associate not call my husband to inform him his background check cleared. Nicole almost cancelled the sale because of apt vs unit (telling my husband to change it even though you’re unable to once the form is submitted). And there is no law that prohibits a person from telling the person completing a 4473 how to spell something or being a second set of eyes. We have purchased many firearms and have never had an issue being a second set of eyes for each other. She had an attitude, rolling her eyes when my husband asked to check the weapon before we left the store. How Nicole is the general manager, is beyond me. She doesn’t know to how use the register and iPad, continually needing to be on the phone with other associates to director her on how to use said equipment.. or how to inter

The reno cal ranch store has maybe 4 good workers. Their management staff needs to work on customer service. The management staff had the worst customer service. I've ever experienced. And their main customer service line was rude and hung up on me Because they change their times to cash in points. Didn't notify. Nobody remove the points. I had and basically told me Tough luck. I know my 5 to 10 thousand dollars i would spend there isn't much, but if they can't do right by their customers. There is no need for me to return there. Tractor supply & big R. And local mom and pop shops will get my money cause they at least honor there Customer rewards. Like I said, there were a few good employees at the Reno. Store? But it was literally only like 3 of them and none of them were management.

Customer service here just is no good. Always have an attitude when coming to pick up items. Just customer service here definitely needs work. Product quality is great as well as price can't lie there.

I quit coming here a while ago due to the poor service and time it took to find anything. The store was unorganized and poorly managed. It was so bad I started going to the in Carson City location. I went back one day for a live stock pannel I needed asap. I am happy to say the store has a new manager and it looks amazing. Everything is well organized and clean. Gun counter is actually open past 4:00pm now. Very impressed by the turn around of this location. Manager clearly cares and is working hard to change things. I will definitely be back.

Modifying my review since C-A-L Ranch Reno did work to make this right and were kind to my husband about the mistake. I purchased 12 whiskey half barrels but 3 of them were very badly damaged and they loaded topsoil instead of the mulch I needed. Resulting in us having to bring it back to the store. I was mad because this is for my blueberries and I can’t use top soil. We did rework most of the barrels by removing the nails from the rings, tamping them down, then screwing them in place. They came out okay but aren’t the best looking. When returning I had told my husband to just return the soil and I would get the mulch elsewhere because I just didn’t have it in me to deal with the situation anymore. I felt bamboozled and frustrated. The staff was apologetic for the mistakes and offered to let my husband buy the mulch at a better rate because they wanted to get rid of it. He called me and I agreed. I feel like this does make the situation fair overall for money spent and the product received, makes up for the rework time we spend on the barrels, and I’m happy with this outcome. My husband and I appreciate the staffs kindness and willingness to work with us, despite the bad review
